I offer blog content writing and strategising as part of my freelance marketing portfolio. Utilising my history as a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger, I take and adapt my experience to unique and bespoke audiences for my clients.
What Does Blog Content Writing Include?
Just as it describes on the tin, blog content writing is the creation, copyproofing and editing of blog posts for clients. Typically between 500 – 800 words per blog posts, the blog topics are either provided by the client or curated from a list built during blog post strategising. All blog posts are written, copyproofed and editing to client approval – ensuring that the correct brand voice, message and tone is delivered.
What does blog content strategising include?
Blog strategising is the process in which I assist clients and brands to create an engaging and relevant content plan. Designed to promote the brand message, push campaigns or products and inform and entertain users, the blog content strategy is key part of every marketing campaign. The process goes as follows:
- An initial meeting – discussing the existing blog strategy, topics used, brand message and tone of voice.
- I then put forward a blog content review – summarising my initial thoughts on how the blog content can be improved and highlighting any major issues.
- Together, myself and the client will work together to compile a list of blog topics, post dates, image banks and key content points for future blog posts, as well as key goals to hit through each blog post.
- From then on, should the client require, I can write and create the blog posts for the client to publish.
