Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil is possible the most over-blogged product in the history of skincare. Well, that and the Kiehls Creamy Avocado Eye Treatment. Or the Kiehls Ultra Cleansing Facial Moisturiser. Or the Kiehls…Ok you get the picture. Khiels is amazing, and I’m so excited to talk about their latest magical solution as it hits the blogging world.

For as long as I can remember I’ve struggled with my skin. Whether it’s dry, oily, or a combination of bad, it’s cursed me from day one and I’ve tried everything trying to find a solution. But as all skincare bloggers know, it’s harder than you think to find a product that works. The heavy duty kits can block your pores, and the lightweight water bases can dry you out. You can’t exfoliate, nor douse, nor drown your skin as nothing seems to help.

DSCF0051.jpgUntil now. Ultimately, my goal in forking out my hard earned pennies over this little bottle was to find a product that would boost my skin to the level where I could work freely on my face without a primer. That’s right. I wanted a miracle. With skin as rough and hard-to-please as mine, primers are the products that I will glue to the bottom of my make up bag in an attempt not to lose, and will smear across my face each morning, no matter how late I am for the day. kiehls.jpgBut now? After one recommended use of the Midnight Recovery Oil (thanks Hannah), my skin felt beautiful. Best applied before bed and patted gently across the face, neck and décolletage, just three drops of oil can completely transform how your skin feels. With my skin, it’s the dips and hollows that tend to dry out first, so I took particular care in my application there, and it completely paid off. DSCF0048.jpgMy dry patches, though not completely eradicated, looked so much come the morning I barely even spotted them in the mirror. My make up practically slid across my face it was so smooth, and it feels so hydrated and healthy I almost went without!

And, as ever, the science behind this miracle little bottle is just as fascinating as the end result for me. A combination of lavender, evening primrose and Omega 6, this is a naturally healing solution, with all the perfect floral properties designed to help your skin refresh as you sleep.

DSCF0063.jpgSleep is one of the best things we can do for our skin, as it gives our skin a chance to regroup and power up ready for the busy day ahead, which means the lavender infusion is just an extra little bonus to help you catch those zzz’s.

Khielsdrop.jpgAfter just one use I can see the difference in my skin, and I can’t wait to see the improvement later on in the week! Winter is one of the harshest seasons on our skin, so this cheeky little purchase couldn’t have come at a better time!

If you’re struggling with your skin, and are suffering from blemished or discoloured surfaces, definitely pop into a Kiehls store to see if the Midnight Recovery Oil can help you, because I promise – it’ll be worth it.

Thank you so much for reading, and have a great week!signDisclaimer: The views shared on this blog are entirely my own and any paid or sponsored posts with explicitly stated in the body text.
